Heavens kitchen had the privilege of being the first recipient of this newly founded cause called Mpho's campaign.
This campaign was started by Nicola Siepman a grade 11 pupil from St Benedict school in pinetown. This aim of this cause is to help the homeless and destitute regain a bit of dignity by providing them with dignity bags containing sanitary items.
Most of Nicolas donations have come from individuals in the form of monetary donations or items that they have bought.
The largest donations came from the Outriders Social Dirtbike Club - they bought R2 000.00 worth of items for the dignity bags.
She has had three donations from people overseas that have seen her campaign.
Department of Health gave the male and female condoms.
Jess Ford Foundation donated the sanitary towels.
More people need to get involved and follow in the footsteps of this lovely young woman with the biggest heart and make a difference in our community.
We at heavens kitchen thank her for choosing our project.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
